Hi, I'm Tanya.
I help new moms feel confident and supported during their first year of motherhood and beyond, so they can thrive in their new role with confidence and less stress.
I have been an Occupational Therapist for over a decade with extensive experience in Pediatrics, Neurology, and Sensory Processing. I have continued my education to include Family Wellness, Women's Health, and Perinatal Care.
I am passionate about all things motherhood and easing the mental and physical burnout that moms may experience.
I'm a mother of two and clearly remember the isolation, exhaustion, fear and anxiety that I experienced as a new mother.
Motherhood is hard but it doesn't have to be lonely and you don't have to sift through hundreds of Google articles and become overwhelmed with information.
I am here for you and your family.
New Mom Beliefs
Over the years I've had so many families ask me about their child's development.
And I've seen so many moms make the mistake of falling into the black hole of google, or seek knowledge from a Facebook mommy group.
And that's just backwards.
Google is wonderful, but it's very easy to fall down a google rabbit hole and become overwhelmed with information. Information overload leads to confusion and analysis paralysis.
Mommy Groups are fantastic in many ways. But the advice that is often given is based upon one person's experience within their own unique family unit. What works for one family may not work for your family.
Wouldn't it be easier and less stressful to speak directly to a professional who can tailor solutions and strategies directly to you and your child?
I can help you bond with your infant, determine your parenting style, facilitate milestone obtainment, come up with holistic sleep solutions (I birthed one of the world's worst sleepers!), discuss sensory processing and so much more.
